professional journey

Educational Roots: I earned my medical degree from Kansas City University in 2022, as well as a Master of Public Health from UCLA. My undergrad studies in Biotechnology & Business at Cal Poly Pomona were where my love for science met my knack for management.

Current Adventure: As a physician advisor to digital health startups, I thrive on turning bold ideas into real-world health solutions.

Previous Chapters: My previous roles include working as a physician, serving as a public health consultant where I was an expert witness in high-profile legal cases, and acting as a clinical research analyst for a pharmaceutical company. I also spent 9 months in rural Ghana, leading community health projects and supported local medical training.

milestones

Tech Innovations: At College Medical Center, I pioneered a revamped sign-out process designed to streamline patient handovers. This new system improved efficiency and effectiveness significantly, cutting handover times by 20% and boosting patient safety metrics—an achievement that underscores my commitment to operational excellence in healthcare settings.

Public Health Contributions: My role as an expert witness in the environmental health investigation of the Exide battery plant was pivotal. My testimony and data-driven insights contributed to the decision to decontaminate and demolish the facility, thereby safeguarding the surrounding communities from further toxic exposure. This effort helped restore safety and health to affected residential areas, demonstrating my dedication to environmental health and public safety.

Clinical Contributions: As a Clinical Research Analyst at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, I was involved in crucial stages of research that led to the FDA approval of a new asthma medication. This work not only highlighted my expertise in clinical research but also my ability to contribute to advancements in treatment options that improve patient care and quality of life.
